HaRav Heschel was truly a Gadol BaTorah. He never abrogated Halacha and the only reason why he joined JTS is because he thought it would become something similar to what YU is now. He thought potentially it would adhere to Halacha and reach out to the Jewish ignorant masses in a modern style. It is to bad he was wrong. Its interesting that his mechitza beis medresh in JTS still exists.

My father who has smicha from Rav Aharon Soliveitchic has many of HaRav Heschels sfarim.

When I was much younger, my father used to step out for about 5 minutes (really no more) to have a lechayim with a few of his friends. I went with my father once and he joined a few men and they made 1 lechayim, had a piece of harrying on a cracker and went back in time for Av HaRachamim.

My father even found a Rishon (I do not remember who) who said that in his time it was the custom of the young people to “taste liquor” before Musaf. So the custom goes way back and if done in a respectful manner, it is not the end of the world.

    To Dial :

I am sorry to break the news to you. Learning more Torah, having better Midot are essential to being a Jew. However these things alone will not build the Mikdash and do not relate to this discussion.

This is about having Hakarat Hatov to Hakadosh Baruch Hu.

As Hagon HaRav Yisrael Ariel says: How do we build the Mikdash??? WITH OUR HANDS!

    To the Mod:

I was being Metamei the Har haBayit???

I went up in Kedusha according to Halacha and with the consent of a major Gadol Harav Shmuel Eliyahu shlita who was there and encouraged us and gave us a bracha!!!!

    edited

Are you the Mod of YWN greater than HaRav Eliyahuy??? Do you know his father the Holy Mekubal HaRav Mordachai Eliyahu also supported Jews who went up according to Halacha!!!

If I transgressed issur karet, than I am in good company because so did the Rambam. Perhaps you feel your are greater than the Rambam as well.

Lastly even if you will use the argument that we dont know where the Mikdash was it certainly was not attached the Kotel Hamaravi!!!! That is not even a possibility according to anyone!!!! As I explained we were waking along the other side of the Kotel on a short path and there is even a dispute if the area we were walking on is Harodian addition, which does not even have Kedushat Har Habayit.

So there you accused you a Jew of sinning without justification, which is Motze Shem ra and Rechilus, which is for sure a Torah transgression worse than most others.

Why are the Mods not posting my post from 3 hours ago?

because it’s a story about how you celebrated yom yerushalayim by being metamei the har habayis.

(there, I posted it for you. He went on to har habayis while he was a tamei meis.

hashtagposter: There will indeed be a website that people could order Korbanot. Me and my friend have already begun laying the groundwork for such a site.

Naturally before the Mikdash is actually rebuilt, we would first only have a Mizbeyach. In this first stage when the Mizbeyach will be built on Har HaBayit we will have a sharing agreement with the Muslims similar to the Ma’arat HaMachpela. In the infancy of this agreement it might only be possible to organize the Korban Pesach. As we slowly assert ourselves on Har HaBayit the idea would be to expand the Korbanot to all Korbanot Tzibur.

In this stage it would only be necessary to provide the public with a website for Korban Pesach because it is the only Korban that the masses have to eat.

To bring all Korbanot Yachid and tzibur, we already have the technology and have already genetically modified a perfect Parah Aduma, we are now just waiting for a mother of a baby Cohen to donate her son to be brought up from birth in a Tuma free zone.

It is our goal to return all the mitzvot of the Torah and there is no need to wait for Mashiach to do this. Hashem put us in the world to do his will to the best of our ability and not to wait.

That is the essence of Geulah.

Yes the Machon HaMikdash, which has reconstructed most of the Keilim and the Bigdei Kehuna have modernized certain things.

For instance the Kiyor has an electric heating system and thermostat, it has different spouts that release different volumes of water so as to accommodate different opinions.

In addition the machon has created floor plans and bezrat hashem will install a floor heating system so the Cohanim will not get sick from the cold stones as they did during the previous mikdash.

There is certainly room for innovation, within Torah guidelines.

PS. My grandfather built both Yeshiva Telz and Bnei Akiva in Cleavland under the same roof. He was both Ohev Torah and Ohev Ha’aretz and he wanted to strengthen both ideal in Cleavland.

So tell me Mod: Was did you shut down my newest post about Keeping kids on the Derech, I read through your offical rules and I did not violate a single one them.

If you can tell me, which rule I violated in this post I would be happy so that I can learn for next time.

Nothing was deleted. I don’t know what you are referring to.

To the Mod. I think you are making the rules up as you go along. I have seen people post terrible things on this board and you allow it through.

Let face the truth. You just do not like what I have to say and worse you know that it is true.

We approve plenty of posts which we do not agree with. If you cannot read and follow the rules, maybe the CR is not for you.

    In the Charedi world women:

    1. Bring home the money and thus control the finance

    2. Take care of the home and the children

    In the Charedi world:

    1. Men abrogate the Ketubah they gave to their wives so they can sit and “learn” Torah all day.

    2. Do dont lift a finger in the home.

There will come a time and I warn you women will have an uprising in the Charedi world and men will begin to suffer.

Baruch Hashem here in Yerushalayim I was zoche to host a large Seudat Chag on Leil Yom Ha’Atzmaut filled with Shira and Divrei Torah.

Furthermore I had a even greater Zechut to go up as Shlliach Tzibur for both Ma’ariv and Shachrit with all the extra Tefilot, Tehillim and Hallel to thank Hashem for this great opportunity and for the salvation of the wars.

Leil Yom Ha’tzmaut included Perkei Tehillim before Ma’ariv and Hallel without a Bracha after Shemona Esorei.

Shachrit included Yom Tov Pesukei Dezimra, Hallel Shalem with a Bracha and Haftorah that Chutznikim read on Shmini Shel Pesach.

My posts are almost always banned.

When ever I quote major poskim or post serious divrei Torah that go against the Hashkafa of this website it is removed within 10 minutes. This has happened 6 times in the last 4 days.

what happened to 70 Panim LaTorah or was that concept forgotten by the “Yeshiva World”?

Look forward to a serious answer

    akuperma:

-Jews do honor the dead with Hespedim.

-Jews do honor the dead with silence as Aharon HaCohen did after his sons perished and as chazal say “the comfort is in the silence” the siren just calls for that silence.

In addition every ceremony includes tefilot and tehillim

If this is not honoring the dead I do not know what is

Come home to Eretz Yisrael and you can live in entire cities and towns that are Torah based.

This is the Jewish country why you trying to implant yourselves on foreign lands, when you can come home.

    This is crazy.

Is this some sort of sick demented joke???

    MOVE TO ERETZ YISRAEL!

    1. Strongest Torah learning in the world!

    2. Cheap Affordable Healthcare for everyone!

    3. Free day care for children from age 3!

    4. All Jews even the secular know when Shabbat comes in because all the buses and public transportation disappear, Yes even in Tel Aviv.

    5. The buses remind you to say Sefirat HaOmer.

    6. On Yom Kippur everyone even the most secular keep the day holy at least in public and 70% of the public fasts. Even the international Ben Gurion airport shuts down.

    7. For those with TV you can watch Parshat Hashavua discussion a couple hours before Shabbat on national TV.

    8. On Pesach Bread is almost no where to be found and over 66% of the public keep Kosher L Pesach.

    9. On Chag Sukkot, sukkahs are seen everyone and I mean everywhere.

    10. 94% of males get a Brit and 98% of homes have a Mezuza.

    11. As the Gemara teaches in Eretz Yisrael one has a God and in Chutz Laaretz you don’t and furthermore its better to live in a idolatrous city here in Eretz Yisrael than in a entire Jewish Frum, Black Hate and Strimal dominated Detroit.

    Come home soon!

    Is this a serious question???

Do you forget what Chazal say about Eretz Yisrael?

Our Rabbis taught: One should always live in the Land of Israel, even in a town most of whose inhabitants are idolaters, but let no one live outside the Land, even in a town most of whose inhabitants are Israelites; for whoever lives in the Land of Israel may be considered to have a God, but whoever lives outside the Land may be regarded as one who has no God.
