Rebitzen Hinda Metzger ob”m was niftar on Simchas Torah at the age of 98. The rebitzen was the mother of former Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi Yonah Yechiel Metzger.

The rebitzen was niftar in Bnei Tzion Hospital in Haifa on Simchas Torah. The levaya was held on motzei Yomtov, Thursday night the eve of 23 Tishrei 5774 in Haifa.

The rebitzen was known in the Haifa community as a major baalas chessed who was always willing to assist those in need.
