Just as Shabbos was arriving in Eretz Yisroel, the sad news arrived of the Petira of Rebbitzen Ahuva Berman A”H.
Rebbitzen Berman A”H was the youngest daughter of the Steipler Goan, and a sister of Hagon Rav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita.
She ws sick the past few months, and was Niftar at the age of 78.
The Levaya is scheduled to leave her home in Bnei Brak on Motzei Shabbos.

BDA, She was the wife of the Ponevezh R’Y, Horav Shlomo Berman A”H, author of the sefer “Asher L’ishlomo”, and her son, Horav Chaim Peretz, is a son in law of Horav Berel Povarsky Shlita, both serving as R’Y in Ponevezh currently.
