Although he finished last in Saturdays Nevada caucuses, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum said Sunday hes not quitting the race for the Republican presidential nomination anytime soon.
Asked on Fox News Sunday whether this Tuesday’s three-state voting is a make or break moment for him, Santorum replied: Oh no. Not at all. I think were going to show improvement. This race is a long, long way from being over.”
Santorum has maintained that hes the only conservative candidate to front-runner Mitt Romney who could beat President Barack Obama in a general election match up. And he predicted hell have a better showing during Tuesday in Minnesota, Colorado and Missouri.
Weve got three states coming up on Tuesday, he said. Were going to show that this race is moving in a very different direction.

???. Sen. Santorum is or should be the clear choice for frum voters.
he should be, but sadly usa doesn’t want a mentch as president
getzel1,
Yes, that is a problem.
He should join forces with Newt so that they will have a real chance! What good does it do anyone to be the best candidate not elected?
Santorum is a breath of fresh air in his character and beliefs that even when unpopular he holds dear to, and I hope his luck changes in Missouri and other Feb. caucuses/primaries.
As much as I, as a Torah Jew, naturally associate politically with “conservatism” especially “social” conservatism (against abortions, same-sex marriage, etc.), I always dislike how much of the leaders of the American conservative movement are hardly representatives of their ideals (the list is exhaustive). Not so with Santorum. He walks the walk. 7 kids, strong convictions, and the works…
Obviously, he is still a politician and has his faults…but a person who so represents “values” as a serious candidate is great thing for the country.

Ido,
Newt is a time bomb waiting to explode.
