CHECK IT: You May Have A Suspended License

Beginning Monday, June 17, Senator Felder’s Flatbush office will be assisting anyone who would like to check the status of his or her driver’s license, every Monday through Thursday from 9:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Every summer, drivers endure legal and financial repercussions and untold stress because they are unaware of their suspended license. The most common reasons for suspensions, including unanswered traffic tickets or unpaid surcharges, are far more common than people realize.

“I urge everyone to check their driver’s license before heading upstate. Every summer minor traffic violations turn into arrests for unlicensed driving. This is 100% avoidable. Please don’t wait to find out the hard way,” urged Senator Felder.

For assistance or more information, please visit Senator Felder’s office at 1412 Avenue J.

Are You Immune to Measles? You Can Still Find Out

In response to continued demand, after an overwhelming turnout to two measles immunity events, Senator Felder is collaborating with Kamin Health Urgent Care to provide an after-hours, no-cost, titers test.

  1. How does one not know their license is suspended? Surely you are aware of your parking tickets, when you renew your auto ins. the ins. company checks if your license is suspended, and you and your ins. co. get noticed when it’s suspended. I just don’t get this.
