The almanah of the late R’ Pinchas Menachem Pashwazman, a 21-year-old Gerrer chosid who was killed by a Hamas rocket attack in Ashdod in May, gave birth to her second son on Monday night.
R’ Pashwazman was killed four months ago when caught outside as a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip hit Ashdod. When the siren went off, he ran to a building to take cover but was hit by shrapnel right outside the entrance to the building. He was evacuated to Assuta hospital where he died from his wounds.
R’ Pashwazman, a Gerrer chassid, was born in Beit Shemesh to American parents from Monsey, New York. He left behind a pregnant wife and baby son. He was one of four Israelis killed and 123 wounded during an escalation of Hamas terrorism in May.
