An Orthodox Shul in Chicago was reportedly robbed last Friday, according to the JTA. The Rabbi of the Agudas Achim Shul told the JTA that the burglar entered the building through a window and stole computers, audio-visual equipment and a large supply of food used for dinners and kiddushim. The synagogue is 120 years old, has a 2,000-seat sanctuary and is noted for its grand architecture. Some time ago an 85-year-old candelabra was stolen. Also, vandals once covered the religious school with anti-Semitic and racist graffiti. (JTA)

anyone know who the rabbi is there?
I believe it is Rabbi Lefkowitz
You are not intending to make light of such an occurrence, but the picture does not reflect that.
rabbi lefkowitz near the lake?
That’s the one
yes, Rabbi Lefkowitz near the lake
which lake?
There is only one lake near Chicago. Michigan.
Is there anyway possible to speak with Rabbi Lefkowitz? I’m doing an outreach in behalf of the Burglary Prevention Council and we are working with a producer who is looking for someone who is willing to share their story on camera. Please advise.
