In a move representing a total turnaround, Kol Chai Radio reports that IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz just briefed the cabinet, along with the heads of the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) and the Mossad, all expressing their support for the deal.

If this is the case, it would represent an about-face from the position held by the security chiefs regarding previous prisoner release deals.
