HaRav Eliezer Berland Shlita, Rosh Yeshivas Shuvu Banim has been hospitalized. The rav was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Yerushalayim during the night (motzei Shabbos to Sunday/ 5 Shevat 5772), complaining of “severe pains”.

The rav arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle and was admitted to an intensive care unit for tests and monitoring. On Sunday morning his condition was reportedly stable and he was removed from intensive care to a bed in the internal medicine unit.

Persons close to the rav explain he suffered the pains and Shabbos too, but he pushed them aside, but on motzei Shabbos, he simply was unable to endure the pain any longer.

Just last week the rav held a tefilla rally at the Kosel, calling for achdus as the most powerful weapon against Iran, as YWN-ISRAEL reported.

The tzibur is requested to be mispallel for Eliezer ben Atya b’soch kol cholei am yisrael.
