Ironic: Tel Aviv Initiative For “Shabbos Buses” Canceled Due To The Coronavirus

In accordance with the instructions of the Health Ministry as a result of the spread of the coronavirus, the mayors who operate the “Shabbos buses” – public transportation on Shabbos – announced that the buses are canceled until further notice, Kikar H’Shabbos reported.

The initiative began four months ago but has currently come to a halt due to the Health Ministry’s directives to Israelis to avoid leaving their homes unless absolutely necessary.

Public transportation in general has been reduced and there will be no public transportation from Thursday night at 8 p.m. until Sunday morning. On weekdays, buses will stop running at 8 p.m.

  1. Hashem has His ways of solving problems which we weren’t successful in solving!
It’s unfortunate that it had to come to this.
Hoping that the method will go away and that the lesson will remain.

  2. ITS NOT IRONIC ITS HALLACHA….Tel Aviv WILL DEFINITELY SUFFER , the LGBTQ community will be left with far more disease than one can imagine because of the life style and sexual appetite….think about it….THIS IS ISRAEL, G-DS HOME, NO BUSSES SHOULD RUN ON SHABBOS EVER__let the goyim walk and let the secular learn to skip or begin reading torah and join the rest of their families in keeping mitzvahs and mindfulness
