A 77-year-old resident of Holon is in police custody after he tried selling $20,000 in one hundred dollar bills to an undercover agent.
According to the Shai District police report, the man was involved in a counterfeiting operation and arranged to meet the undercover policeman to sell him $20,000 in US currency, in cash, for the price of NIS 30,000.
Immediately after making the payment and receiving the cash, police moved in and made the arrest.
