Jerusalem police announce the arrest of a suspect believed to have spray painted and vandalized adverts around the city showing women’s faces.

During the past two weeks a number of adverts were painted over, damaged and partially torn off. Police began surveillance in areas they believed the perpetrator was likely to strike leading to the arrest of the suspect.

The suspect, a 26-year-old male, was taken into custody on Tuesday, 18 Cheshvan, in the southern area of the city. He was carrying spray paint.
