Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is reportedly hospitalized at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
According to the Jewish Insider which first reported the story, he may have been hospitalized on Wednesday.
The reporter which broke the story, Jacob Kornbluh, tweeted on Thursday morning that “According to a WH official there are currently no plans for Kushner and Greenblatt to visit Abbas at Johns Hopkins Hospital. The official added, “but we wish him well.”
It is unknown what Abbas is being treated for.
[UPDATE: Abbas spoke out late Thursday after leaving the hospital].
Earlier this week, Abbas was at the United Nations in New York City, where he addressed the Security Council. He was then slammed in a speech by US Ambassador Nikki Haley.

Maybe he got sick after hearing Nikki Haley speak.
