Stabbing Attack Prevented At Kalandia Checkpoint; Female Terrorist Arrested

Police and border police have B’chasdei Hashem apprehended a female Arab at the Kalandia Checkpoint at Jerusalem’s northern border. It is explained that when the woman approached the checkpoint on Sunday, 22 Elul, she attracted suspicion as she entered an area for vehicles, prompting security forces to approach her.

When she ignored their instructions, they used pepper spray and then restrained her, then checking her bag, finding the knife shown in the accompanying photo.

The Kalandia resident, a woman in her 30s, was most likely planning a stabbing attack police believe.
