Moshe Feiglin, the chairman of the Zehut party, used Facebook to launch a harsh attack against Ministers Rafi Peretz and Betzalel Smotrich, the number one and two persons on the Bayit Yehudi party list respectively, for sitting in the current government.

Feiglin begins with Smotrich, stating “Smotrich believes HKBH is on vacation during elections, and he feels free to speak loshon hora and ignore Shulchan Aruch…”

He sites that Smotrich is a member of a cabinet that in the last month alone destroyed four Jewish homes in Yehuda and Shomron as well as giving armored vehicle to Abu Mazen.

Feiglin then analyzes the statehood of Peretz and Smotrich, calling them “religious fascists”. He adds, there is a certain stream in religious Zionism that now represents all religious Zionism in the Knesset. According to this idea of the beginning of the Geula (ראשית צמיחת גאולתנו) and that the State of Israel is a sacred value has been removed from all proportion and jumped the scale of values before [the commandment] I am H’ with ‘I am the state’ immediately following ‘I am H’ (אנכי ה’).

“There is no red flag, there is no black flag of illegal orders – there is no conscience, there is no G-d, there is just the medina (state). When the medina is above all else, all this is religious fascism, that’s what it is. This is the ideology of these people and because of this, all the soldiers carried out orders; and Gush Katif was destroyed and Tel Aviv, Ashkelon, and Ashdod are under rocket fire every few months”.

Feiglin ends, “The connection between the chardali (chareidi dati leumi) parties cannot be carried out even in your dreams and decorate your party with graceful secularism”, a hint at trying to bring back Ayelet Shaked. “It will not change your essence – we will not join you”.
