An official Hezbollah spokesman reported on Sunday that two Israeli drones fell in a Hezbollah stronghold in southern Lebanon, an area which is fortified by Iran, citing there was a large explosion followed by flames. He explains that at first, the source of the explosion was unclear, and it is likely to have been caused by an Israeli drone that fell in Syria during the IAF attack in that country.

A short time later, the Hezbollah source confirmed that Israeli drones had indeed crashed near Beirut. AP reported that the IDF Spokesman refused comment on “foreign media reports”.

It is pointed out that Hezbollah is not claiming credit for downing the drones, indicating they crashed on their own and citing one was booby-trapped, causing significant damage to a Hezbollah-affiliated communications center.

The IDF late on Saturday attacked targets near Damascus, explaining to thwart what is being called an imminent Iranian drone attack.

Retired IDF Major-General Chaim Bar-Reuven told KAN Reshet Bet Radio on Sunday morning that persons must realize that with a drone, a most accurate attack can be carried out at the vehicle carries explosives and “one can target a home or event a window of a home. The drones are extremely accurate”.
