Police in the Jerusalem district arrested a woman for questioning on suspicion of physically and verbally abusing her minor children leading to actual harsh physical attack and injuries.

Police received a complaint in the Old City regarding a minor who arrived at a hospital, presenting with suspicious bruises. When police arrived, they suspected child abuse by the mother, arresting her for questioning on suspicion of attacking and injuring her minor children. After the probe continued, the evidence pointed to the woman being the abuser of her own children.

Police arrested the 40-year-old mother from the Old City, and she was arraigned in the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court.
