United Torah Judaism MK Yisrael Eichler tested positive for the coronavirus on Thursday, ten days after receiving his first vaccination dose.
A statement from his office said that “he is feeling well, b’siyata dishmaya.”
Eichler was vaccinated last Monday and began developing symptoms of the coronavirus on Tuesday of this week.
On Tuesday, Eichler had a meeting with Deputy Minister Meir Porush and a number of askanim from Belz and Shlomei Emunim, including Elad Mayor Yisrael Porush, Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Yossi Deitch, Jerusalem City Council member Michel Halberstam and Beitar Mayor Meir Rubinstein. They will all be required to enter quarantine.

He didn’t yet have part 2 of the vaccine, so what does he expect?
no surprises there, it 4-6 weeks to develop immunity.

Stop trying to make hock out of nothing. The vaccine requires 2 doses a few weeks apart in order to take effect. There is definitely a conversation to be had about the safety of the vaccine, but this is a stupid argument.

Could YeshivaNews please follow up on this news item? Does he have symptoms and / or breathing issues (ch”v)? Why was he tested? Was it because of exposure to someone who got Covid or because he had fever? If a person tests positive after receiving the vaccine, but has no symptoms, that would seem to indicate that the vaccine is working? Correct me if I’m wrong??? Rfuah Shlaima to him and all cholim!!

It didn’t. It can’t. There is no virus in either the Pfizer/Biontech or the Moderna vaccine.

He had heart disease and cancer, and had had several previous heart attacks. The vaccine protects against COVID, not those other conditions.
Someone in the UK was struck by lightning after getting the vaccine. You probably think that THAT was related!
