A former hospital x-ray technician has filed a NIS 2 million lawsuit against Bnei Brak’s Maynei HaYeshua Hospital after being diagnosed with skin cancer. Avraham G. blames the chareidi hospital for negligence regarding appropriate safety measures regarding exposure during his 12-year tenure in the medical facility.

According to his attorney, the lawsuit is backed by expert testimony that the hospital failed to comply with minimum safety standards to protect employees from exposure. The lawsuit also targets the state for failing to enforce proper procedure since the state is responsible for enforcement and certifications of hospitals.
