Four PA (Palestinian Authority) residents over the weekend successfully entered the IDF�s Nevatim Air Force Base without being detected by any of the sentries or security cameras. The four were not planning a terrorist act, but the Chevron area residents were looking for employment, explaining they hoped for a job on a construction project inside the base,

After wandering around the base for about an hour, they approached a construction foreman who realized they were not cleared to be inside, notifying authorities. They managed to bypass all security, including a closed-circuit video system that should have alerted authorities to their presence.

Air force officials confirm the infiltration, stating a major and thorough investigation is underway.
