IDF Chief Prosecutor Brigadier-General Avichai Mandelblitt has turned to Attorney General Menachem Mazuz suggesting he file criminal charges against the director of the film Jenin Jenin, Muhmad Bachri.

Mandelblitt cites libel as the reason, explaining the film which presents as a documentary paints a fictitious picture regarding the IDF counter-terror operation in Jenin during Operation Defensive Shield. The film speaks of the IDF slaughter of innocent village residents, speaking of war crimes and atrocities. The claims of horrific acts by the IDF have long been proven to be nothing more than PA propaganda.
