Former IDF Spokeswoman Moving to Likud

It appears that opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu is attracting a list of stars in the hope of taking the next general election, which will be held on February 10, 2009.

Former IDF Spokesperson Brigadier-General (reserves) Miri Regev is scheduled to meet with Netanyahu, the Likud leader on Sunday, at which time she is expected to announce her decision.

Regev’s signaling her planned move to Likud comes only hours after former Likud minister Dr. Binyamin Begin announced his political comeback. Also expected to add his name to the roster is former IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. (reserves) Moshe Ya’alon.
