18:32 IL: Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital spokesperson Yael Bossem Levy reports Maran Rav Ovadia Yosef Shlita underwent a surgical procedure to alleviate a problem in his back. She explains the procedure was successful and it appears the rav will remain hospitalized in the coming days for observation.
Tefillos are requested for Rav Ovadia ben Gorgia. The Rav is now in an intensive care unit.

i think he is called Harav YOSEF (Ovadiah is his first name)
#1 His first name is [Harav] “OVADIA YOSEF” ben Georgia. He uses his middle name Yosef as a surname too and so do his children. May he have a refuah shelemah bimherah.
