Speaking to Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) on Wednesday, Minister of Absorption (Kadima) Ze’ev Boim stated the only way to halt Gaza-based is to kill its leader, Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyah. Boim stated that only if and when Hamas realizes the price for continued terror is too high will the rockets halt, and we have to strike at the leader, the man responsible for ordering the continued attacks against Israeli communities.
When asked to comment on Boim’s remarks, former IDF chief of staff Moshe Ya’alon stated that a firm response is required against Hamas, which leaves numerous possibilities, including the elimination of Haniyah.
