Three cousins entered a northern area minefield in their hunt for porcupines. Their actions compelled the IAF to step in to extricate them from the minefield, which led to the death of one of them, 24-year-old Ala Agabriya.
Ala sustained serious leg injuries are a result of detonating a mine and later fell to his death from the rescue chopper. He was a resident of a village in the Nachal I’ron (Wadi Ara) area.
The three later told police they were unaware they were entering a minefield, but authorities insist the area near Bet Shean is fenced off and there are warning signs. Nevertheless, after Ala was seriously injured, MDA was called by his cousins but rescuers for obvious reasons decided to summon a chopper, not wishing to endanger rescuers by sending them into a minefield.
At some point, with Ala hanging from the rescue chopper overhead, he slipped and fell to his death. The incident is under investigation. Ala’s two cousins blame the air force for the botched rescue mission.

WHAT???? the 2 cousins blame the rescuers for his death??? just return the 2 cousins to the minefield & let them complain from there…..they probably already have a lawyer lined up to sue…put him in the minefield too…..
“Ala’s two cousins blame the air force for the botched rescue mission.”
Such chutzpah!!
After ignoring the minefield warning, they should be thankful that the IAF wasted its time and money to save them, instead of blaming the IAF for the death of their moronic cousin!
if they don’t like the service, next time they should call the Hamas Air Force to save them.
of course its israels fault. they should provide the arabs with idiot proof protection so that when they decide to do something stupid , israel is there to prevent it.
Their chutzpah is even more compounded by the fact that apparently they entered the minefield not to hunt porcupines but to collect the mines, neutralize them and then sell the explosives to terrorists!
