AG WARNS GOV’T IS DEFYING COURT ON CHAREIDI DRAFT
Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara told Israel’s High Court that the government is violating a court order to create enforcement policies for chareidi men who failed to report for IDF conscription.
* She warned the government’s refusal to comply is “a real danger to Israel’s democracy” and undermines judicial oversight of government actions.
* The High Court had ordered the government on November 19, 2025, to submit new enforcement policies within 45 days for tens of thousands of chareidi Bnei Torah.
* The attorney general said the government has done nothing to implement the ruling or indicate it intends to comply.
