The IDF has announced the death of Cpt. Eitan Shmuel Lemberg, 21, of Mishmar HaShiv’a, an officer in the 75th Battalion of the 7th Armored Brigade, who was killed in southern Lebanon earlier today. According to the military, a Hezbollah terrorist fired an anti-tank guided missile at an Israeli tank operating north of the Litani River at approximately 4:00 p.m., fatally wounding Lemberg. Following the attack, the IDF launched immediate retaliatory strikes, targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in the area with both air and artillery fire.
