The Shabbat Project Body and Soul Retreat: Going, Going, Gone!

Just two weeks before the event and phones keep ringing off the hook with people begging and pleading, but alas, there are no beds remaining. Excitement is building for Project Inspire’s sold out Shabbat Project weekend, an upscale retreat for the Body and Soul, to be held at the Woodcliff Lake Hilton on the weekend of November 15-17. This weekend is sponsored by Isaac and Edie Gross in honor of Rabbi Yitzchak Berkovits Shlita, Rosh Yeshiva of Aish HaTorah, and in honor of Rabbi Warren Goldstein, Chief Rabbi of South Africa and founder of the Shabbat Project.

An unprecedented number of attendees have invited their non-affiliated neighbors, friends, and Torah partners, and are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to show them what a real Shabbat – in the company of nearly 1,000 Jews – feels like. Now they are in a frenzy as their invitations are being accepted and the retreat is already filled to capacity!

Moish from Boro Park is eager to attend with Max, a brilliant law student he’s had for Shabbos meals in the past. “Max is studying for his exams, but he hopes to be able to attend,” he told Project Inspire staff on the phone. “Can you hold our place while I wait to hear his schedule?”

Carolyn, who began studying with Faigy from Passaic last year, is eager to attend, too—provided her two-year-old gets over the flu. She, too, is hoping there will still be room once her toddler is given a clean bill of health.

While last year’s event was attended by over 600 people, this year has close to 900, with many more clamoring to attend. And no wonder.

From the weekend’s smashing intro with a kugel bar and l’chaim, plus a women’s challah bake and special candle-lighting experience, the event, featuring lavish meals, thought-provoking presentations from today’s most sought-after speakers, and exhilarating entertainment, is above and beyond anything you’ve imagined.

From the moment you enter the Woodcliff Lake Hilton until the closing keynote on Sunday morning, you will be surrounded by achdus, unique ambience, and the special energy that characterizes a Project Inspire event.

The Shabbat Retreat: Enjoy a memorable weekend of inspiration, of reaching out to our unaffiliated brothers and sisters, of hosting and nurturing and creating bonds that will last for many years to come.

Celebrate Shabbos like you’ve never celebrated before. Presented by Project Inspire, a program of Aish HaTorah. Because they know how to do it right.
