Someone painted a red swastika today on a Jewish temple.Temple Emanu-El shares the 306 Rumsey Road building with the Abundant Life Christian Center, a Pentecostal church.
The temple sold the building to the church but continues to worship in the building.
Police Capt. Edward Geiss said the Yonkers police Special Investigations Units is treating the vandalism as a bias crime.
“They (SIU) are investigating it as we speak,” Geiss said.
Geiss said the swastika was discovered at 5:24 a.m. today by two police officers from the 3rd Precinct while on patrol.
The swastika was painted on the right exterior wall of the brown brick building.
No similar incidents have been reported recently, Geiss said.

Maybe it was an Anti-Christian crime!! Or else someone who couldn’t tell the difference.
