PHOTOS: Toddler Injured in a Rock-Throwing Attack Near Betar Illit

A baby girl was injured in a rock-throwing attack near Betar Illit in Gush Etzion. B’chasdei Hashem the child’s condition was described as light. There are conflicting reports regarding her age. Magen David Adom reports the child is 6-months-old. The attack occurred late Thursday morning, 28 Kislev. The car was attacked as it left the chareidi city.

The frequency of rock-throwing and firebomb attacks has increased but most attacks are not reported since B’chasdei Hashem there is no loss of life or injuries. Nevertheless, for persons traveling the roadways of Yehuda and Shomron the situation is life-threatening and many many motorists report damage to vehicles daily.

The photos are of the attack in which the infant was injured. The child was transported to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.
