SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*An IDF patrol in Chevron on Saturday night was attacked by Arabs who pelted them with rocks. A number of arrests were made. No injuries were reported.

*An Israeli motorist was targeted in a Saturday night firebomb attack southeast of Qalqilye, near the Arab village of Chirbitah. No injuries or damage were reported.

*A border infiltration from Lebanon to northern Israel, in the central region of the border was reported on Saturday. It is unclear if the person, who was detected but apparently got away, was armed.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*Motzei Shabbos fire in a matzah factory on Jerusalem’s Rikma Street. A yeshiva above the factory was evacuated as a result.

*Speaking at a military ceremony, Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Saturday night stated that Israel is not interested in escalating the situation along the Syrian border, adding he believes the same holds true for Damascus.
