U.S. Pauses All Asylum Decisions After D.C. Guard Shooting – CBS

According to a CBS report, U.S. authorities have ordered a pause on all asylum decisions following the shooting of two National Guard members in Washington, D.C.

The pause applies to all pending and new asylum applications while immigration agencies reassess security- and vetting-related procedures.
