Anyone who promotes one and bashes the other shouldn’t be relied on.
2qwertyParticipantI almost always suppress the sound of my sneeze and just let the air out though my almost closed lips.
2qwertyParticipantIf she gets her way… should govt only approve certain type? Would govt be allowed to limit the frequency of use? Or can anyone just get it over the counter and resell it on ebay?
The logistics dont make sense and i think thats why he was taking a quick jab at her because the whole thing sounds like a joke.
2qwertyParticipantFew cheap places to consider:
cleanitsupply.com
walmart.com
costco.com
wayfair.com
mygofer.com
2qwertyParticipantmamashtakah,
I think even learning is forbidden during Chazaras HaShas. So how will it help to switch one for the the other? And what if someone is learning on his cell phone?
2qwertyParticipantAs long as you have traffic you can make money from it. Maybe get targeted ads from advertisers who want to target teachers.
2qwertyParticipantCoffee addict,
Rashi says tzadik ben tzadik but doesn’t explain why that’s better. According to one expansion that I saw is that by giving a child to Yitzhak Hashem was giving a grandson to Avrohom. So it was because of both of their merits not just because Yitzhak was greater than Rivkah.
2qwertyParticipantActually it’s a qwerty layout but im using new version of swype and it has text predict option.
Luckily it remembers mistakes and learns from it.
2qwertyParticipantI meant to say to kosher capsules (typing on a cell).
2qwertyParticipantIf you have a chance go to a Jewish pharmacy and they can transfer the medicine to Lasher capsules. Or speak to your LOR about it because it’s really different for every case.
2qwertyParticipantGoq, in this case i totally agree with you. I knew you would speak up about something like this.
Mods? Is anyone reading the content before it gets posted?
Trollala?!?
2qwertyParticipantWolf, if you don’t think you did anything wrong then you are a shogeg.
2qwertyParticipant“their baby stomach aches or just didnt seem to be good for them”
“didnt seem to agree with their baby”
Doesn’t sound like allergic reactions to me.
2qwertyParticipantLast year i saw a man and a lady both dressed in black suits with white gloves, tall hats (like magicians) and their baby in a car seat dressed like a rabbit.

10,000 over a thousand years could have multiplied many times over. Maybe then in 1939 no one would ever dream of starting up with one of the biggest nations on earth.
2qwertyParticipantFree! Judges are not allowed to charge for it and there are still few such individuals available who do it l’shem mitzvah.
2qwertyParticipantThey are both fine for your tasks but with 1 you wont have to upgrade in 2 years it will last you 3-4 years. Seeing how infrequently you buy a computer you might as well get a better one.
2qwertyParticipantFor this flight check out hotwire website they offer different airports and different dates with many choices under 400.
2qwertyParticipantWell if they are doing something against the law you can sue them for damage.
Since no one did I assume its legal.
If I tow your car I’m also causing you damage time/money so just don’t block my driveway.
2qwertyParticipantFor lowest avg I guess you can change if statement to
playerAverage<max
And change in the beginning
int max=100; // which is the Max number it can be
2qwertyParticipantI guess you still didnt see my answer which doesnt use arrays.
And by the way Perl is great but no one wants to use it anymore so i would suggest PHP over Perl.
2qwertyParticipantI was joking about the island i wanted to see how many people heard of it before. Anyway your answer should be something like this:
//in the begining add
int max=0;
int highestPlayer;
//then right after you know playerAverage do this
if(playerAverage>max)
{
max = playerAverage;
highestPlayer=x;
}
//right before writting out team average add this
System.out.println(“Player with the highest average: ” + highestPlayer);
2qwertyParticipantI googled it for you and the first result is this page:
http://www.torah.org/advanced/business-halacha/5757/vol2no26.html
Sources:
Gemara in Bava Basra (22b-23a)
Shulchan Oruch (Choshen Mishpat 155:39)
Rema adds that it applies regarding any discomfort
2qwertyParticipantI thought you were talking about an Island in Indonesia
2qwertyParticipantyungerman1, do you really understand the concept of parking on some elses property?
If you are trespassing someone property you can get shot but your car cant get a small sticker?
2qwertyParticipantI think Greenfield got rid of it recently.
But to answer your question you are parked on a city street without their permission so it’s good they didn’t tow you. I know I do it also but then I accept the punishment without complaining.
2qwertyParticipantDitto for all the other animals! The only exceptions maybe where humans interfered.
I know people will mention elephants, whales, and so on but i dont think they are overweight in comparison to each other they are just built that way.
2qwertyParticipantA Kohen had to walk up a ramp and not steps so he wouldn’t expose himself when lifting his feet for the next step. So sounds like he wore a robe and no underwear!?!
January 12, 2012 3:26 pm at 3:26 pm in reply to: Torching Of Brooklyn Cars May Have Been Insurance Scam #8428942qwertyParticipantI dont understand what insurance scam can there be if insurance just pays the value of the car. What can this person benefit from doing it?
2qwertyParticipantGoq,
I hear where you are coming from but i think the difference is that Asian language can be spoken by anyone from any country/culture/religion. So when we make these jokes we aren’t making fun of any particular type of people.
The same way we make fun of English language with jokes like:
You park in a driveway and drive on a parkway.
Your nose may run and your feet may smell.
If con is the opposite of pro then what’s opposite of congress?
Frosted Flakes have frosting, but pitted prunes Dont have pits.
When I wind up my watch, I start it, but when I wind up this post, I end it.
Sincerely,
Sam Ting
2qwertyParticipantThere is a place in Brooklyn called Sushi Mitushi.
It’s not kosher and anyway Jewish people wouldn’t want such sushi.
January 9, 2012 2:36 am at 2:36 am in reply to: Winter Vacation & Minyan Problem- your opinion please #8424292qwertyParticipantDoswin,
I think you are right but it’s just too annoying to hear someone talk like that.
2qwertyParticipantca,
I dont think its lifnei eeveir at all. Would you hire someone who is a smoker? Would you pay rent to someone who is a smoker?
When you give a person money its his choice what to do with it. You can daven so you money will lead people to do good things but you are not responsible if they choose otherwise.
2qwertyParticipant>Giving money to someone who’s just shaking a pushka because they >heard Jews give money on Friday afternoons, and then that person >goes home laughing, is sadly, not fulfilling the mitzvah of
>tzedakah.
I disagree because as far as you are concerned they are asking because they need it so you are obligated to give. Generally, I think the less we judge others the less Hashem will judge us.
>Once I find out the person buys cigarettes I have a good excuse
>not to give him tzedaka “poor” or not
Is that your criteria or Hashem’s?
2qwertyParticipantIs it better to give to someone you believe doesn’t need it?
Yes the mitzvah is to give regardless whether the person needs it or not. And as far as i remember you can give the smallest coin to satisfy this mitzvah. However, i personally think its disrespectful to give too little.
2qwertyParticipantLook if she says thank you to the waiter for bringing her a drink.
Or if she is thankful for a finding a parking quickly.
She will for sure say thank you to you for opening the door but its the small things that count.
2qwertyParticipantWell either system files/settings got messed up or there is a conspiracy against you. Take your pick.
2qwertyParticipantI thought promotions are against CR rules
2qwertyParticipantSo it depends on the degree of the sun which is different for every location and time of day. There is a way to calculate it but not very practical.
2qwertyParticipantIn case you meant Israel i think this airline comes out the cheapest: swiss.com
Generally i like to use kayak.com to search for tickets.
2qwertyParticipantThe problem of striping the bed is that the room looks bad until the hosts gets a chance to do laundry which can be middle of the week.
I think its better to do the bed in a neat way but maybe not exactly the way it was to show which bed you’ve used.

December 1, 2011 4:11 am at 4:11 am in reply to: Articel on NY Post Web-site on religious Jews child abuse #8324722qwertyParticipantaries2756,
I agree with your post and im sure we as a community can and should come up with many more such steps to prevent abuse.
2qwertyParticipantFrom our point of view we have a choice but from Hashem’s point of view we dont.
Example: You are about to do something and then all of a sudden (based on your previous experience or learning or emotions) you realize that you shouldn’t be doing it and you stop yourself.
It took you time to come up with that decision not to do it. So you feel like you made a choice.
But for Hashem it was instant at the very beginning when you got the original idea to do it Hashem already knew how you’ll feel about it and what memories it will trigger and based on that you wont end up doing this action.
2qwertyParticipantI thought Bishul Akum refers only to the actual food and not to the cooking utensils.
November 28, 2011 6:04 am at 6:04 am in reply to: Articel on NY Post Web-site on religious Jews child abuse #8323682qwertyParticipantsoliek,
What are you talking about? I also agree that someone who abuses should go to jail but i was talking about someone who is innocent and happens to be accused.
Read the article in Forward and notice that the big papers will not write about false accusations but they all wrote a story when that Rabbi was accused.
November 28, 2011 2:22 am at 2:22 am in reply to: Articel on NY Post Web-site on religious Jews child abuse #8323592qwertyParticipantWhy should we err on the side of the children? As long as the person is removed from children why should we risk putting innocent person in jail and ruining his family? Is it fair to his children?
I understand that if there is enough evidence people should go to the police im not against that but make sure to get enough evidence first.
Also, for some reason Jewish community feels it needs to force the person in jail at all costs. There are many cases where the Jewish Community or our activists made a big deal if someone got a plea bargain or low sentence so now the DA makes sure to over judge every case.
It’s pure discrimination but the worst part is that it was brought on by our own activists!
November 27, 2011 6:37 pm at 6:37 pm in reply to: Articel on NY Post Web-site on religious Jews child abuse #8323552qwertyParticipantAnyone who read this article in Forward should also mention about false allegations and people being paid off to testify falsely and police encouraging such things.
2qwertyParticipantAll the stores and all the non profit organizations that accept amex is part of this program.
Non profit org’s will have people working the whole sat evening taking amex donations.
2qwertyParticipantI know this may sound bad but did they look into getting a life insurance policy?
I think there are ways to get it without any medical tests or questions.
