a girl 613Participant
Rescue, I agree with both of your last two posts: if feminists want equality, then why degrade men? That’s not even equality.
a girl 613ParticipantSo if riding a bike while wearing leggings underneath my skirt, in case it picks up, is Tznius then why do no women ride bikes in most frum in-town communities? I always want to ride Lime bikes, but people would consider me ‘weird’. So I have to spend lots of money in order to go to a park a distance away, Which means I spend on the train and on the bike
a girl 613ParticipantEven if I do have to cover now as a divorcee, am I at least allowed to walk around with my hair uncovered in my own house?
a girl 613ParticipantWhy does a divorced woman have to cover her hair? What makes us diffferent than singles? Just because we were once married briefly? It’s so hard and inconvenient, especially knowing that I’m not even married and no diffferent than a single girl (besides for me covering my hair)
a girl 613ParticipantWhy do I still have to cover my hair if I’m divorced? 😭
a girl 613ParticipantGirls, listen up: when my mother dated my father, he had never touched a cigarette. He started after he got married. I still remember when it was once a month, then once a week, and now it’s a few times a day! 😢 so I think it’s ridiculous to say no to smokers because anyone can start. If Hashem wants you to marry a smoker, you will, even though he doesn’t smoke yet when you date
a girl 613ParticipantThe Torah doesn’t believe in feminism, so no such thing as a ‘frum feminist.’ Like what does it even mean? What do they advocate for? The Torah says women are supposed to be different than men
a girl 613ParticipantYes, I mean gender dysphoria. My brother was asking my mother whether any girls want to be boys, and that he never heard of anyone who does. So my mother told him that people who do are not happy people, crazy, mentally ill, etc…
a girl 613ParticipantI’m a frum girl who vapes. I haven’t smoked, tho

a girl 613ParticipantUnfortunately, girls / women in the frum world who want to be guys have no one to discuss it with because it’s considered ‘not normal’ and most frum females Ik say they’re very happy being a girl. Why is it considered ‘not normal’? Is someone who is depressed ‘not normal’? We can’t help being mentally ill!
a girl 613ParticipantIt’s definitely not accepted in Stamford Hill where I live. Because I smoke in private. I keep my e-cig in my pocketbook. My mother told me I shouldn’t because what what if my boss or a workmate sees? I was so mad because why is it different than if I would be a Rebbi in a cheder and my boss found it? He wouldn’t care. Why should my boss care if I smoke in private? People think it’s weird even if women do it in private. Anyway, I do it in public because I don’t see how it’s not Tznius, and guys sometimes anyway look at me unfortunately

They’re the ones who tend to do the Aveiros when they get drunk, not women. I’ve had drunk guys talk to me and (gasp!) not keep Shomer negiah with me. So if guys can’t behave they shouldn’t drink. But we women can behave, as ik from personal experience. Nowadays, it’s considered more accepted for women to drink Purim, with there being multiple girls’ Purim parties on Purim. Plus, I’ve seen my workmate, who is very normal and chassidish, suddenly dance on the street and act tipsy. But it’s still not accepted in my community. So if anyone sees a girl that’s a bit tipsy, just know that I am normal, BH, and please still suggest me Shidduchim, lol. The problem is once we have kids, B’ezras Hashem, we can’t get drunk because someone has to watch the kids 😭
