I can’t stand that my in laws take off the bottom sheet – to make it appear as if they stripped the linen, but not taking the blanket-cover off the blanket which is the “hard” part of removing the linen.

I always wonder- are they lazy not to completely strip beds, or what are they thinking?

You can’t get more real and ‘hartzig’ music than him. No shtick, just real beautiful voice singing with feeling.

We JUST replaced our 30 year old Frigidare…. so I’d think before replacing based on cracked shelf alone. Google or call company for replacement if that’s an option.

We bought from Town Appliance in Lakewood they were VERY helpful and knew the Jewish market. Today’s fridges all come with electronic switches so not so simple to buy from regular store without knowing what you are doing. They ship very cheaply so no problem for those out of lkwd.

According to what Town Appliance told us- they don’t recommend GE fridges bec. they have been known to have problems on 3 day yom tovs when fridge switches are turned off. (they must be turned off to stop lights, fans, electronic temp. gauges from being effected each time fridge door is opened)

We bought a Kitchen Aid fridge, and so far we are very happy.

People are real in Baltimore. They live within their means, not showy- and very little living up to the Jones.

People are friendly and talk to you regardless of not knowing you. You wont be looked up and down. Most Baltimorians don’t dress Boro-Park fancy during the week. People are more laid back and friendly, across the board.

It’s a wonderful city to live in. Despite it often referred to as OOT- that is only bec. it is not NY. Regarding the city itself nothing is lacking.

I’d like to hear here from ladies who walk around with their knees uncovered. Or very short skirts.

In today’s society it’s very well known that knees should be covered. I’d like to hear their thoughts.

It’s not a case of wanting your kid to be the best. Rather- the best HE can be for himself. Why should a kid be forced to struggle his way through.
