I disagree, I think AMI did sustain and I think that they already far surpassed Mishpacha. They have many more columns, and more interesting columns.
Well, when I was in yeshiva they allowed and still allow only blue shirts and white shirts. No designs just plain blue or white. When you allow just one color people feel restricted and they look for ways to break the rules (designs, colored collars etc…). On the other hand to let all colors is to much. Way before I was there they allowed any button down shirt, and that was a problem because it became a fashion show.
I also wanted to say that don’t think R’ Wallerstein is a very chamur person beause he hates facebook. On the contrary R’ Wallerstein is pretty lenient. Facebook is just one of those touchy things for him that he thinks is plain out wrong.
A few years ago my whole family had facebook! A few months (6-8) after we signed up for facebook my parents heard a very powerful speech from R’ Wallerstein denouncing facebook. Since my parents are big fans of R’ Wallerstein, it was then that my parents told everyone in our family to delete our accounts. Anyone who is having a problem deleting their account should listen to R’ Wallerstein’s anti-facebook shmuz and they will delete it promptly! Additionally, besides as mentioned above if all the hours and time it steals away it also dirties up your mind. I personally know many (at least 20) teenagers whose factor in going towards the wrong derech was facebook! Ladies and Gentleman, it’s time for everyone to go delete their facebook accounts. Now!!!
Both my parents had it. My mother was very successful however certain foods dont agree with her. If she doesn’t eat those foods then she is perfect. Also, she lost tons of weight and kept it off. My father was very successful in the beginning and now when he gets tightened he has reflux! But, that can be fixed with medication!
I wrote an essay about that in school. I strongly support it! Go weed!

My friend is in a Mesivta in Monsey, and they are only allowed to wear solid blue & white shirts and no one looks at the boys differently who wear a blue shirt vs. a white shirt.

I read that article too. I also thought it was a very nice thing. I hope she enjoys that money and handles it properly. Remember to give 10% Maaser LOL!
They have a thing that you put the clothing on top of it and close it up and it folds the laundry. For me, taking all the cold stuff (shirts, pants, stuff that don’t go into dryer) and hanging it all up is the worst chore!
Unfortunately this is so true and always happens. Especially with the people who make problems with their seat because it’s next to a lady!
