Like I said zdad,
If it doesn’t alter history it’s fine if it does then it won’t happen
If it changes your outlook and maybe others now then that has no bearing on the past it’s fine
February 19, 2018 10:15 pm at 10:15 pm in reply to: If you had one era to go back in time… where would it be? #1472462☕️coffee addictParticipantas I’ve said before, Hashem runs the world and has a plan for eveything, this is what hashgacha pratis is!
If you would have told the kohanim that they’ll be killed along with scores of people Just because of this blood they would laugh at you for saying something so ludicrous!
If you tried covering it up the blood would still showThe past can never be changed, if it could it would have been
February 19, 2018 8:53 pm at 8:53 pm in reply to: If you had one era to go back in time… where would it be? #1472424☕️coffee addictParticipantZdad,
I don’t think anything would change based on that
It’s no different with the story with rav elezar and rabban gamliel (I think it was those tannaim) where we say torah lo b’shamayim he
February 19, 2018 5:46 pm at 5:46 pm in reply to: If you had one era to go back in time… where would it be? #1472349☕️coffee addictParticipantWere talking about not having an effect on the past, if it was possible it would have happened
Rule #1 in time travel
Knowing something “new” that happened is possible to not alter the past yet can alter the future and there’s nothing wrong with that, we do so every day!
February 19, 2018 4:34 pm at 4:34 pm in reply to: If you had one era to go back in time… where would it be? #1472184☕️coffee addictParticipantZdad,
I don’t know where you got that that was the ops question also you probably wouldn’t exist as you yourself you would be a totally different person
☕️coffee addictParticipantKatanhadorah is won’t to do that
February 19, 2018 1:34 pm at 1:34 pm in reply to: If you had one era to go back in time… where would it be? #1471894☕️coffee addictParticipantZdad,
Hashgocha pratis dictates everything happens because hashem wants it to
February 19, 2018 11:45 am at 11:45 am in reply to: If you had one era to go back in time… where would it be? #1471795☕️coffee addictParticipantZdad,
It sounded from the op that you can’t alter history and only could look at a certain time period
Additionally I don’t think anyone would believe you because everything is in Hashem’s plan and it seems like it had to have happened
February 19, 2018 9:46 am at 9:46 am in reply to: If you had one era to go back in time… where would it be? #1471679☕️coffee addictParticipantI would go back to the period when the beis hamikdash was standing and see all the Nissim that happened during that time
☕️coffee addictParticipantmods,
seriously? you had a Havah Amina?
February 16, 2018 2:23 pm at 2:23 pm in reply to: You are the conductor of a train 🚂 and you have a split second decision-what wou #1470761☕️coffee addictParticipantWhat would I do?
I would run over the three people then back the train up and run over the other two people and then I got all five!
(we’re talking that the drunkards are from Amalek, right?)
Happy ADAR!
☕️coffee addictParticipantRandomex,
they take a cell and they put it into an egg
adocs,
would you be it’s father (if your a male) if you’re a female cant they use your egg to develop the clone?
ubiquitin,
well if it’s from your cell and if a female (see above) your egg isn’t it like you yourself
thank you wtp, that makes sense
☕️coffee addictParticipantWith your mouth

☕️coffee addictParticipantRav Miller died in 2001, The internet came around to the public around 1994. He most certainly knew about it
Zdad,
he didn’t know of it as it is today, if he did for sure he would assur it and “possibly” joe wouldn’t be in the coffee room
😛
☕️coffee addictParticipantToo bad Rabbi Miller was niftar before internet came out, I wonder what he would say about it (rolling eyes)
☕️coffee addictParticipantNow I remember seeing this story somewhere, not sure where
does that apply to Siamese twins too, if one feels pain the other one does too
and thanks to everyone who replied on the biology question, i got mixed up with my big X and small x
☕️coffee addictParticipantThen he couldn’t put him back, so the guy got married (courageous wife!) and had one two headed Kid in addition to his regular one headed ones……
surprising, because if it was a dominant gene (this two headed thing) then all his kids should have it, if it’s a recessive gene then none of his kids should have it! (I’m saying that because I don’t think his wife had the gene, if she did it would be a totally different story)
am I right?
December 19, 2017 10:19 am at 10:19 am in reply to: Is it acceptable to go for a walk on the 1st date? #1429932☕️coffee addictParticipantI don’t know if it’s “trouble” having conversation (I am not a conversationalist btw) I just felt more comfortable and more like myself where I went to a place that was my decision (as of being forced to go to a hotel lobby because that’s what everyone is supposed to do)
December 17, 2017 6:51 pm at 6:51 pm in reply to: Is it acceptable to go for a walk on the 1st date? #1429014☕️coffee addictParticipantmy best and last “first date” (because I married the woman that I went out with on this date) was that we took a walk to a park nearby and had a picnic
I was totally comfortable there and was able to be myself (as opposed to a hotel lobby where when I went on other first dates I was struggling to make conversation)
December 2, 2017 11:20 pm at 11:20 pm in reply to: Where can Israeli Jews escape to in case of emergency? #1417065☕️coffee addictParticipantWow spread the truth
I’m taking that you never heard of the gulf war and what happened then
☕️coffee addictParticipantno Joe,
Not yet at least
☕️coffee addictParticipantwhat is so special about gluten free eggs (I didn’t know eggs have gluten)
I advise you not to move to the five towns (or far rockaway) it gets too crowded as is
☕️coffee addictParticipantLF,
if they’re thinking ‘out of the the box” so isn’t that the same thing (or in other words “alike”)
☕️coffee addictParticipantI’ve been meaning to post over here but haven’t been able to
LF can run (or hop) for the GREEN party!
☕️coffee addictParticipantLike NYC does with parking tickets.
and traffic tickets (going over white lines when everyone does it and they don’t stop anyone most of the times
and speeding tickets (where a police officer waits with a radar at the end of the month so he can get his “quota”)
and tickets for putting out your garbage TOO EARLY (which is only really a few hours earlythe list is endless
November 8, 2017 10:59 am at 10:59 am in reply to: Are that any well known rabbis that assert that English is a holy language #1399065☕️coffee addictParticipanttakes2-2tango,
not true! english is actually worse than german and hungarian (on the same level as yiddish)
It is said that the malachei hashareis don’t understand aramaic because it isn’t a language in and of itself and only a corruption of lashon hakodesh
the same applies to yiddish (corruption of german) and english (borrows other languages
☕️coffee addictParticipantthey want to make a new town (called the 6th town) not sure the name but i know a lot of people are opposed to it
I have noticed a lot of people from flatbush are moving to the area (possibly they moved to Far Rockaway, not sure though)
☕️coffee addictParticipantThe Five Towns might be the next Teaneck; definitely not the next Lakewood.
Joe, I thought the connection for the “next lakewood” was where will all the Brooklynites move to next just like the moved to lakewood until it exploded
I would be happy if I thought the OP was talking about Torah
☕️coffee addictParticipantI’m sorry to say but i think it’s the 5 towns 🙁
☕️coffee addictParticipantYekke,
I refer you you to parshas noach where noach gives yefes his bracha 😃
☕️coffee addictParticipantZdad,
Did you touch her or were you passive?
Additionally I once helped an old lady cross the street and I asked my rebbe afterwards and he told me you would be a chassid shoteh if you didn’t help her
October 3, 2017 12:58 pm at 12:58 pm in reply to: Vegas Massacre: 59 Good Reasons to Outlaw Automatic Weapons #1377887☕️coffee addictParticipantIt’s funny how last week we were arguing about the first amendment and now we’re arguing about the second amendment and the people who were “defending “ the first are “attacking” the second and vice versa
☕️coffee addictParticipantSince we had a whole discussion on the first amendment it goes without saying that knpanel isn’t forced to do anything just because you asked (or is this getting into the fifth amendment)
☕️coffee addictParticipantMochel loch (or is it lecha)
I choose not to go into details, not interested in bringing the whole thing back to the light even if it was a misunderstanding but it showed in myself that I needed a breather from the CR if I was hurt by someone I didn’t know
☕️coffee addictParticipantWhen did Hannity quote YWN and on what subject, coffee addict?
Google is your friend Joe,
Jan 31 2011
☕️coffee addictParticipantRebyidd,
You’re right I should have said respect our country
We keep on going around in circles with the first amendment but I have answered it already with logos above (people pick and choose what they like to address (I guess that’s part of living in this country 🙄
☕️coffee addictParticipantUniq,
Nowhere did I say that first quote I don’t even know where you got that from (I’m assuming it’s a straw man)
I never said if you hate our president with a passion it’s perfectly fine to stay (there’s a lot of people that hated obama/bush/Clinton/Reagan with a passion
No one says you u have to love our president
What I am saying is you have to love our COUNTRY (which is what our FLAG represents)
Secondly Antifa aren’t anti-nazis
Also your part parroting everyone else of “first amendment rights” doesn’t work in a restaurant btw where a same gender couple wants a cake and someone doesn’t want to bake it for them but it works for someone that wants to disrespect our service men and women?
Someone else has a few screws loose and I’ll give you a guess who (hint : it’s not me)
☕️coffee addictParticipantSean Hannity just said it well
You can’t tell players that you can’t put logos on your clothes because it’s political but then say you can kneel because of your first amendment rights
(What they didn’t allow was a 9/11 logo and wearing pink
☕️coffee addictParticipantThis country was founded as a place for people to protest and cry about stuff
To quote Shlomo ha Melech
There is a time for everything….a time to laugh and a time to cryThat time isn’t right before a football game
☕️coffee addictParticipantHuju,
I’m surprised you said that based on our past!
If cops killed Jews and justice wasn’t served I would for sure leave the US, if you can’t trust cops who can you trust to uphold the law, on the flip side if I realized that those cops were exceptions to the general population of cops I wouldn’t generalize and say “all cops are bad and this country supports cops (which are bad) which makes the country bad so therefore I’m not going to honor my (bad) country by standing for the flag
It’s just silly nonsense and trying to make a statement where there shouldn’t be one
If you want change you get laws passed by getting people supportive of your beliefs in the government (just like the Tea Party) as opposed to protesting and crying about it (just like occupy Wall Street and blm
There, I’m done with my rant
☕️coffee addictParticipantWhy would he be haman? Haman wanted to destroy us because Mordechai didn’t want to give him kavod
This guy is just a crazy lunatic
☕️coffee addictParticipantHey, if Sean Hannity can quote a ywn article is must be a legit news site 😜
☕️coffee addictParticipantI liked what happened last night at the cowboys game
The cowboys knelt before the anthem to join in protest against trump and then stood for the national anthem
☕️coffee addictParticipantI agree with Kaepernick’s original reason for kneeling – to protest trigger-happy behavior with black Americans by some police officers – and I ain’t leaving America (except for my sister’s wedding in Israel, but then I will come back).
the flag represents our country, the police officers represent a service that the country does, no different than trash pick up construction for bridges, or the fire department
if you don’t like the police officers (for the FEW that are trigger happy) don’t use their service!
if you don’t like the country so much so that you can’t show respect to it’s flag GET OUT!☕️coffee addictParticipantIt’s funny that we’re arguing this because the coach of the Pittsburgh steelers spoke out against the player that stood for the national anthem
☕️coffee addictParticipantYou can dislike the president, make rallies do whatever you want but president doesn’t = 🇺🇸 (proof being because kapernick started it when obama was president)
So you don’t like America? LEAVE!
☕️coffee addictParticipantAnd you wonder why liberals don’t like you.
No I don’t, I don’t really care
What I wonder is why they are still here if they hate our
president with a passion☕️coffee addictParticipant+1000 Joe,
and maybe they can be swallowed up by some earthquakes while they’re there!
☕️coffee addictParticipant+1 Joe
Horrible things? Like what? Like abstaining on a UN resolution? Like putting us through the Unaffordable care act? Like giving Iran a nuke?
Oh wait that was Obama
