??coffee addictParticipanthere we go again (rolls eyes)
and how is this starting up? (by agreeing with popa im starting up?)
??coffee addictParticipanti agree with popa (for once)
just because you might be happy that we have yerushalayim doesn’t make it right, if the alternative was moshiach here and a beis hamikdash you would be crying that we got a consolation prize
its like a little kid happy he got a lollipop for giving up $100
??coffee addictParticipantif you’re a dinosaur you do
??coffee addictParticipantGotham Burger
lol, thats a good name!
Got hamBurger
??coffee addictParticipantBrooklyn, shmooklyn. Hop a plane to Israel and go to Burgers Bar!
and if you want a little closer there is (was?) one in cedarhurst
??coffee addictParticipantThe traditional conservative position was that giving tsadakah deprived the poor of an incentive to work and created dependency – and therefore one shouldn’t give them anything since it would hurt them in the long run. This was part of the “protestant ethic” in western culture but is alien to our culture. Indeed, one can argue that the introduction of public welfare and the many entitlement programs was an example of Jewish influence in America.
that isn’t true, the torah talks about not being a slave to the master, due to a sense of dependency (eved ivri)
the torah says aseih shabascha k’chol v’al titzarech l’briyos
additionally, the highest form of tzedakah is giving a person a job, and not a snese of dependancy
democrats are for community support (forcing people through tax to give tzedakah) while republicans are for individual support (tax breaks for charitable contributions)
??coffee addictParticipanti tried to google muslem message board defending jews couldnt find anything,
not sure what to google here and not interested in going to a muslem website to see the anti semitism to find a few supporting?
not sure what i’m supposed to be doing here
??coffee addictParticipantThe voice of moderate and modern Mulims is not something that is heard, esp. when it comes to frum publications.
amil,
is it heard in regards to any publications? can you tell me their names (the publications or the people themselves)?
do they have message boards where moderate muslims defend jews?
i know the son of the leader of hamas is one, but he converted to christianity so any other names?

??coffee addictParticipantlike most of the US Congress, are hardly pro-Islam.
like hillary, who kissed suha arafat?
like wasserman-schultz, who is obama’s spokeswoman?
like pelosi, who said netanyahu insulted her?
like who?
??coffee addictParticipanti see neither nfgo nor besalel really read my post
what i was saying is newbee asked, why is the left wing pro islam? meaning every person in the left wing
what besalel said was “So they flock to the one sanctuary where they feel their anti semitism can flourish without worry: the left.”
meaning that not all people on the left are however anti semites found their way there
??coffee addictParticipantbasalel,
basically you’re saying not all left wingers are anti semites, but rather all anti semites are left wingers
the op asked why are the left wing anti semites
??coffee addictParticipantsorry rebyidd,
there were sets from each animal on the teivah, and the rest from that species died (ie 2 tigers while the rest died)
??coffee addictParticipantAnimals desire other animals,
and they (I assume) don’t have a yetzer hara.
didnt chava give the fruit to the animals too?
additionally, why would the animals get destroyed during the mabul?
??coffee addictParticipantwait a minute, im going to try to be dan lkaf zchus joe (i can’t believe im saying this)

May 4, 2015 11:35 pm at 11:35 pm in reply to: Should the wishes of racist parents that I not date their child be respected? #1076290??coffee addictParticipantoyyoy,
i would’ve replied the same thing but i saw your post
??coffee addictParticipantpaa,
you stated “Many commentators (e.g. the Seforno) claim that the primordial serpent, the ??? in the Garden of Eden was none other than the Yetzer Hara.”
that only happened after “The Midrash in Bereishis Rabba 18:6 tells us:
“???? ???? ???? ??????? ???? ??? ?????? ??
because he let it consume him
there is a midrash that says that sm was riding on the nachash’s back
clearer now?
??coffee addictParticipantbut what part wasn’t clear so i could know what to elaborate?
was it my WHOLE post?
??coffee addictParticipantif it could be done to the Japanese in WWII it could be done to anyone anytime
??coffee addictParticipantpaa,
care to elaborate
??coffee addictParticipantMany commentators (e.g. the Seforno) claim that the primordial serpent, the ??? in the Garden of Eden was none other than the Yetzer Hara.
i thought that was going after sm (name of the malach) went into the nachash
basically before he had sm he was a normal snake with tayvas but when he let it consume him he allowed sm to enter him whereby he became part and parcel of the yetzer hara
(if something isn’t clear please ask, im on my phone)
??coffee addictParticipantnewbee
+1
??coffee addictParticipantyou guys still haven’t realized yet that popa was talking about ernst & young yet?
talk about only looking at the title and not the comments
