☕️coffee addictParticipant
rebyidd,
the moral of the story is obvious
you cant escape fate
☕️coffee addictParticipantah rebyidd,
however if he was on that bus he wouldve been taken to the hospital where they would have found a tumor in his chest which ruptured and caused a heart attack
☕️coffee addictParticipantyou asked for
If there is one justification that stands up to scrutiny I’d like to hear it
and i gave you one justifiable reason, granted it works youre way also
☕️coffee addictParticipantAnd of course it’s 1/4/2014. There is absolutely no sense whatsoever in the American insistence on placing the month before the day. If there is one justification that stands up to scrutiny I’d like to hear it. I mean, for years I thought there had been a terrorist attack on the 9th of November
this coming from someone that drives on the wrong side of the road
the logic is that its april 1st so therefore 4/1 makes sense
☕️coffee addictParticipantthis shouuldn’t be done as an april fools joke
☕️coffee addictParticipantmashgiachs 😉
☕️coffee addictParticipantyybc, did u read the ny times about it?

☕️coffee addictParticipantBefore Obama’s first election, someone I know, who is one of the Torah Code researchers told me that they ran McCain and Obama’s names, when McCain was up in the polls.
McCain was up in the polls?
☕️coffee addictParticipantsam2,
i hear your reasoning but how do you know this?
☕️coffee addictParticipantcoz,
whats the problem?
☕️coffee addictParticipantthats like saying no statement at all (not just questions) is heretical it just shows his belief or no action is bad it s just indicative of himself
☕️coffee addictParticipant1. how do you know
2. so what about a rasha (one of the 4 sons) he was asking a question, however in the question he takes himself out of the klal and he is a kafar b’ikur
☕️coffee addictParticipantSam2
The Even-Keeled and Erudite Shmuely Wollenberger from Las Vegas
“It’s never heresy to ask a question.”
what about the mishnah in chagiga “anyone that is “mistakeil” (not sure how to transalate it, always thought is was saying asks) in 4 things shouldn’t have come into this world, whats above the world, what’s below the world, what was before the world, and what’s after the world.
☕️coffee addictParticipantcoz,
i didnt complain about punctuation lg did
i complained about people complaining about punctuation
☕️coffee addictParticipantcoz,
was what intentional?
☕️coffee addictParticipantPlease repost, but this time with proper punctuation.
what is this with you girls and proper puctuation
☕️coffee addictParticipantwell i think i’m normal and logically in order for the statement to be true the inverse has to also be true and the inverse is “everyone else (not me) is crazy (not normal)”
dont ask questions just agree
☕️coffee addictParticipantadditionally if following news doesnt strengthen your emunah in HKBH i dont know what short of mussar would
☕️coffee addictParticipantLG,
lev sarim U’malachim b’yad Hashem
and i dont view politics change as reason for this. we’ve had democrats and republicans alike know what evil is and faced it (more with republicans though)
yserbius,
fyi i follow the news on foxnews, wcbs, cnn take your pick
secondly, which news source isn’t biased pray tell
☕️coffee addictParticipantwhatever, inverse converse
there is a difference because he can’t be faulted for being fat if its hereditary and starving him won’t solve the problem
additionally fat people can die from starvation too, chain smokers wont die if they don’t have a cigarette
☕️coffee addictParticipantthere are numerous reasons why an ani can be overweight (was rich or well off and became poor) or a genetic mutation so it wouldnt help
secondly,
isnt it wonderful that we all have a rav to answer such questions for us?
that also works in the converse
☕️coffee addictParticipantThat is not true. There is no halacha saying you have to do a background check when some ani asks you for a couple bucks on the street.
but if the “ani” comes with a sob story and one time changes his story it calls the “ani” into question and possibly could not be tzedakah at all (see previous post)
☕️coffee addictParticipantDont worry if he smokes, you worry about being mikayem the mitzvah of tzedaka. Hashem will work out the rest. Of course if you have a question whether it is tzedaka altogether, that is why you have a Rav.
misplaced rachmanus is achzarius
☕️coffee addictParticipantit seems like lf/zk’s style
☕️coffee addictParticipantim suprised you havent figured out who it is
☕️coffee addictParticipantooooh ME!
☕️coffee addictParticipantagreed
☕️coffee addictParticipantcan you name a few, i havent seen them
☕️coffee addictParticipantthere is a differnce between speaking (saying a dvar torah) and asking, curious so wants to know whats going on
asking entails talking not speaking, theres a reason speakers are called that not talkers
☕️coffee addictParticipantI think it’ll be a good idea just to find an old argument and restart it.
so you WANT to be a ba’al machlokes?
what do you get out of arguing?
we should find as little as possible (outside of torah) to argue about
☕️coffee addictParticipantthat post was actually serious, the first one was a troll
☕️coffee addictParticipantWho decided that talking about “Klal Yisroel’s survival through the Holocaust”
bchol dor vdor omdim aleinu l’chaloseinu
☕️coffee addictParticipantwhere in flatbush?
☕️coffee addictParticipantjoseph,
(transalation)
so that YOU should say in the ears of your children that which i played with the egyptians in egypt
and you should tell over to your children on that day “b/c of this Hashem took me out of egypt”
the mitzvah is for the father to speak
☕️coffee addictParticipantoh yeah, i also remember well taanis and megillah
☕️coffee addictParticipantcool i got it, you don’t need the brackets though i see
☕️coffee addictParticipant(™)
like this?
☕️coffee addictParticipantold news
r chaim kaneivsky says its muttar
☕️coffee addictParticipantjewish thinker,
as ive stated before the halacha is there’s no tzaar baalei chaim by bugs
the scientific reason being is that they cannot experience pain (no exoskeleton)
☕️coffee addictParticipanthuh? how do you make a trademark?
☕️coffee addictParticipantcould be the gemara has to be somewhere in nashim (my favorite seder)
March 23, 2015 11:29 pm at 11:29 pm in reply to: The story of the Posek who made an Al HaMichya on Qinoa #1066129☕️coffee addictParticipantits actually funny you bring this up this year bc the posek of my hashgocha paskened this year that its muttar on pesach after years of being on the fence with it
☕️coffee addictParticipantwolf,
don’t worry they thought of this they’ll think of something else
☕️coffee addictParticipanti specifically remember a gemara where Hashem kav v’yachol is laughing and flicking someone that complained that he was poor (in a dream) and light shone from the person’s forehead
☕️coffee addictParticipantadditionally a whole new thread i wanted to start, or even write to hamodia about was their article about poor people where one ani didn’t want to get a job because he makes more money collecting than if he would if he got a job, this is what we’re producing here
☕️coffee addictParticipantim sorry if some are offended by this comment. this thread sounds more like “finding reasons not to give tzedaka” than anything else.
i think the reality is that the responses are trying to make it seem that that was the purpose of the thread. the op’s intent did not give me that impression at all,
im sorry if my post came that way my problem is that i don’t usually have cash on me (i don’t make a lot of money as is) and i at times i feel bad when i can’t give, so when i do have money and theres a certain amount of people collecting i want to make sure i’m giving to people who use it correctly
however interjection has a good point
Why should their family lose out?
i hear, however how do i know he has a family to provide for, he doesn’t walk around with a paper who he’s collecting for
and while on that point there’s people that don’t gett a hechesher from the vaad because their story doesn’t match up, so in that case why should their family lose out?
☕️coffee addictParticipantyekke,
yes i would!
what you aren’t understanding over here is that there is a general consensus that smoking kills from the first cigarette and when one stops there is a significant improvement in their lungs
by opening bbottles there is a gadol b’torah that says its muttar
you said yourself “The author is very much of the opinion that it is assur to smoke”
☕️coffee addictParticipantand the reason is……..
