Would you seriously answer your phone in the middle of shemonei esray if your wife was in her ninth month and was ringing without stopping?!?! Think about it you are davening to the melech malchai hamlochim, so myanswer would be shes in the best of the best hands… Hashem is babysitting her for you. What do you guys think?

If you are davening to hashem nothing will happen until you are finished.

    That’s my answer.

So I hold, turn off your cellphone!!!

I agree with your statement. That’s one of the main causes of OTD, and kids @ risk.

It’s the feeling of social rejection that turns them that way. I once heard a lecture that the instigators that cause these ramifications no matter how well to do they are in their yoddishkoet or how well they are raising their kids etc… They hold the responsibility of these other ones that went astray r”l.

Every generation tells their kids how much they regret bullying their classmates and how they wish they didn’t do it etc… You’d think it would help. No it doesn’t. The Reason is the parents themselves never did tshuva. They never eradicated the avairos they caused from their midst so it inevitably goes down to the children then they wonder why their children are such nasty cruel creatures… No wonder.. I was always nice:)

Can the yetzer hare be causing these simanim to occur? Ok I’m going totally mad or I always was, choose between the two…

Let me explain, I once heard a shiur from rabbi wallerstein who said a story about a girl who was going out with a guy and everything on the date was going from bad to worse although they had been going out for awhile and really liked each other, she was concerned thar perhaps this was a simian that they were not meant to get married to each other… She told this to r’ wallerstien who said, perhaps it’s the yetzer hare preventing you from getting married to each other because the yetzer hara knows what great children will come out of it, and he’s doing eth in his power to Prevent it from occurring. The thing is she was saying the simanim after they occurred I’m talking about so ‘see’ if sth. Will happen, is there anything wrong with it??? And is there some form of cabalistic, coach hatuma in this that could make it issue???

That’s why they are making cars now that will run on air. The battery operated option hasn’t really taken off that well since they have not created them strong enough to withstand everyday use… They are proposing the air will eliminate the petrol cars if they are made well enough.

They are exploring everything in the world on a broader perspective comparatively to an infant exploring his feet, then learns when he bites them , it hurts. Some try it at least once in their lives others more than once… Depending on personality, peerpressure, maturity… Etc… it’s a time when they have to let lose and go wild. By restricting them can be detrimental to their future adult lives. It’s a nisoyon for the parents but hopefully they have raised them well enough in their youth, and those strong foundations have amplified in the later tender years in their transition mode into eligible adults.

Bump! I have the same problem… I didn’t think I’d find a thread on it. But I did!!

I understand the op however I think some of the posters here don’t…

My thing goes like this, I’m not sure if sth is going to happen and I want to find out if it will. So I make a simian, similar or the same as the op… For example, i say to myself if I get this password wrong then this and this business deal won’t go through, or if I get it right it will. I do this all the time, and it kinda works practically all the time!!! Is there sth behind this??? Im not deluding myself, there must be sth behind it!

I’m not sure what though… Is there a certain koach hatuma that allows this to occur???

It kind of freaks me out… Let’s say if I really want sth to happen and the simian keeps ‘showing’ that it won’t I keep doing it… But the outcome is always the same…

Noone try it though, it becomes a habit, once you start its hard to stop… I’m wondering is there maybe sth wrong with me for doing this like say a condition or sth??? It’s weird!

I though about asking a rav about it, but then I decided that here’s the best place… I’m not going to waste my Rav’s time with this soy of thing… Also it’s kind of embarrassing…

iyid- good for you that you agreed to continue with him!!! i say the shidduch crisis has alot to do with people turning down dates for the dumbest reasons;)

    POSTED 52 MINUTES AGO #

What if the girl or guy is ten years older, or he spills tomato sauce on you during the date…. And the shadchan tells you, maybe he was nervous, give it another try…. Who has the dumbest reason here… The dater or the shadchan…. Lol. I dated many years ago.., however some of the issues today still are occuring along with more larger sophisticated ones…. The question is, is the shidduch crisis due to pple rejecting based on age differentiation… What is the problem with having large gaps in marriage?? B”h my husband and I are close in age…. But is it that terrible if the girl is say 25 and the boy is 22 or if the guy is a hefty amount of years older what could be the ramifications that a couple could potentially come to based on these types of factors???
