my version is someone who is very religious, marrys kollel, doesnt listen to not jewish music, wears skirts past their knees by around 4 inches, doesnt talk to boys, doesnt go to college or at least not jewish college, doesnt watch tv, doesnt use internet, etc…. (i like to consider myself yeshivish even tho i dont match that exact version i try to)

why should talmid chachams not marry baal teshuva? didnt you read the pasuk where it says the place where a baal teshuva stands a talmid chacham will never reach? what about a boy who was not religious and then becomes VERY religious so he shouldnt marry a frum girl? its better for this huge talmid chacham to marry someone not frum?
that is true but as someone who is a 4.0 student in psychology and always does the best in the class for me it is easy and very enjoyable.
techincal – to spill beans more ive once been almost basically otd since then i frumed out like crazy i went back on because i decided i didnt like the otd boys then this boy came along when i was back on the derech for a long time but i dont want to go back off too bad that this boy seems very good and the right boy for me now its his turn to go on for me not the other way around.

I think the yeshiva world – moderators should make sure others are being nice to others it doesnt make sense that people have to stand up for themselves or others when this is suppose to be a nice jewish site.

mammele – when i was referring to a good frum girl i was referring to myself. i dont want someone whos otd obviously and i know he has potential to be very religious. if he were to go back on the derech then i could go out with him since we already know that we like each other so i want to help him so that way he can have his full potential and be very religious and have a nice beautiful religious family. it is his type to become frum for me but i dont want him becoming frum for me i want him doing it for Hashem and so i want to know how to help him become religious in the regular way not for a girl.

Psychology is easy and a lot of fun. most people who go for the degree usually go because they want to fix something of themselves and others they usually dont end up making enough money to support a family because too many people want the degree.

writer soul – i was actually looking into stern since its easier. which year are you up to? which chem and bio in other wards? hows the bio track? thats the one im going for sort of i dont yet know if im gonna go to pharmacy school or going for a bio degree and then to a different school like actual med school or dental school. i wanna know more about it because im interested in switching there for that degree if i dont go for pharmacy.

mammele – i have contacted a rav i did ask him to get involved but the issue was he wanted to go on campus and get in contact with the boy and i felt like if he did the boy would see im the one who told on him and he wouldnt be too pleased with me.

matan – i actually have classmates who have cancer and i am actually related very closely with someone with multiple sclerosis so i definitely know about them taking it. i also know druggies some pretty well actually and some who stopped taking drugs this is information i have taken off of all these people combined. as you can see i am actually very anti marijuana thanks to them. i would not give that to them either. my sister had a guy in her class who was jewish and otd and died thanks to marijuana and did not wake up the next day i trust my sister for saying that especially since like the whole community went to his levaya. (next time when someone says that dont assume they dont know anyone with cancer and ms when i unfortunately have relatives with these issues which is one of the main reasons i want to major in what im going for.)

zahavasdad – i want to help him because i feel bad because i know him and his family and i know he has an ability to be at a top yeshiva if he was still religious because his VERY smart and knows a LOT and comes from a very religious family. He has a potential to marry a very good girl also so why through away a good boy when we have enough shidcuh crisis as is and he could be a very good boy for a very good girl?
DOESN’T matter anything that can destroy a person should NOT be made legal. The legal things will be sold at my store h’h and as a good religious trustworthy pharmacist i will make sure everyone knows which is the right medicine and safe medicine they need and marijuana is NOT one of those things.

Marijuana impairs your thinking, and kills your brain cells. i have heard of a guy who went to college with someone i know and took marijuana and did not wake up the next day. this especially happens when you take it with other medicines. most people who are pro marijuana are the ones who take it themselves. i have yet to meet someone pro marijuana who didnt take it themselves. even non jews do not take marijuana and are anti it for the same reason. we have many college class discussions discussing the cons and pros (the pros were all proven false) of marijuana and there are people there who have admitted to having taken it and they say how many issues it has given them. Take for example someone who is paralyzed and all they have left is there brain and they have lost everything else and marijuana has been said to help take off pain would they rather lose everything including their ability to think and do things in order to take off of their pain and suffering of their sickness? i didnt think so. pro proven false. Hashem does NOT want us to harm ourselves or our bodies marijuana does so why would a place who is working to help us keep kosher for Hashem give us the ability to destroy ourselves when Hashem doesnt want us destroying ourselves? It destroys our ability to learn which means it destroys our ability to learn Hashem’s Torah why would the ou do such a thing?

I dont think he went off because of girls because he wasnt always hanging out with girls that often he also had a group of boys he hung out with probably more often than the girls even tho he went home with the girls he wasnt as close at school with the girls as he was with the guys.

no thats not what it means its a very hard cool job just not for me and i know many people who went to school and work as that. Software engineering is the study and an application of engineering to the design, development and maintenance of software. engineers are good at math and many are good at science as well.
