A teacher asked her 6th grade class how many of them were Obama fans. Not really knowing what an Obama fan is, but wanting to be liked by the teacher, all the kids raised their hands except for little Johnny. The teacher asked Little Johnny why he has decided to be different.
Little Johnny said, ‘Because I’m not an Obama fan.’
The teacher asked, ‘Why aren’t you an Obama fan?’
Johnny said, ‘Because I’m a Republican.’
The teacher asked him why he’s a Republican.
Little Johnny answered, ‘Well, my Mom’s a Republican and my Dad’s a Republican, so I’m a Republican.’
Annoyed by this answer, the teacher asked, ‘If your mom was a moron and your dad was an idiot, what would that make you?’
With a big smile, Little Johnny replied, ‘That would make me an Obama fan.
No man is capable of doing it remotely as well as a woman even if he tried…

Not a correct comparison. More like all cases of plants drying out are from a lack of water.
Pac-Man – NO. It is possible for a mother to work full time and be a good understanding mother. And it is also possible for a mother to be home with her kids all day, and be very abusive. (It is actually quite common).
This does’nt mean is is good or bad for mothers to be working, but that discussion is unrelated to my point.
There IS one single reason. It is called ABUSE. Children that were not abused emotionally, will not go off the Derech. Period. (The real experienced therapists in our community know this the most).
Even if it is not assur, the question is why to have one. Not why not to have one. I think the REASON people have dogs is what may conflict with the Ruach Hatorah. (Not the actual having one).

I do not understand this question. It is a Mishna in Berachos 20 that clearly says they are chayav in mezuzah. This is not even a dispute. This Halacha is also brought down clearly in Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah 291-3, as well in Rambam mezuzah 5 -10.

What you are saying is WRONG. Even on the most chomer aveiros including murder, eishes ish, etc. one can do complete teshuva.
Many people somehow have a wrong hashkafa on this matter.

FALSE! FALSE! FALSE! – There is absolutely NO aveirah in the world that one cannot do teshuva on! Ask any competant Rov, (or any Breslover chosid as they are all well versed in this topic.)
