HaGaon HaRav Yitzchok Landau ZT”L was niftar in Bnei Brak on Sunday 25 Shevat 5774 following a serious painful illness R”L. The niftar was 60.
He was a rosh yeshiva in Yeshivas Chevron. He was a rebbe in Chevron Yeshiva in Geula as well as serving in Givat Mordechai.
The levaya was held on Sunday night, beginning at the Yotzie Chevron Shul on Simtat HaAri Street in Bnei Brak and from there continuing to Yerushalayim.

it brings tears to my eyes to write this-as I see us losing our greatest leaders in klal yisroel-when you know this tragic loss could๏ฟฝve been avoided if we did teshuva earlier.
What a tragedy-& loss- we caused cause we cant get our act together & do teshuva WHAT ARE WE ALL WAITING FOR?
Perhaps we are not appreciating these Gedolei Hador that Hashem has sent us to lead & guide us in this world. i.e. when someone takes something for granted & doesn๏ฟฝt give the proper thanks, then it gets taken away from us. are we listening to our gedolei Hador & their guidance? when they make takanos-for our good-to help us return to Hashem & become better?
has klal yisroel gotten the message from Hashem-waiting for us to start doing teshuva-have YOU done anything yet? how many more tragedies & Tzaddikim will it take C๏ฟฝV before we wake up & start doing teshuva? OVER 20 GEDOLEI HADOR have passed away within the past year R๏ฟฝL. HOW MANY MORE DO WE NEED TO LOSE C๏ฟฝV to let hashem know that we get the message for klal yisroel to start doing teshuva ASAP?
note:lots of the gedolim this past year were niftar R๏ฟฝL in the 70?s or 80?s this was not enough to wake us up to teshuva
wish we would wake up and see the message from Hashem to start doing teshuva, so we would stop losing our leaders & guidance in klal yisroel.
