RECAP OF INCIDENT: Four Israelis, including a 13-year-old female, were wounded in a stabbing attack on Kiryat Gat on Motzei Shabbos.

Magen David Adom reported that the victims included the 13-year-old female, a 51-year-old male and two other females ages 44 and 56. All were in moderate condition after being evacuated to the hospital.

The terrorist was captured in the city a few hours after the attack; he originally fled the scene and some 250 policemen searched the area with the air support and with guns drawn, on high alert.

He was caught with a bload-soaked knife on the same street where the attack took place. Two of his friends gave him up to the authorities.

18:59: A stabbing attack took place a short time ago on King David Street in Kiryat Gat, not far from the area stadium. What appears to be a lone attacker stabbed four people. Two are listed in moderate condition and two light. The wounded are being evacuated to hospital. More to follow.

19:04: Three of the victims are now being reported in moderate-to-serious condition and the fourth victim in light condition.

Gunfire was heard at the scene, apparently an attempt to neutralize the terrorist, who succeeded in fleeing.

19:07: While about a half hour has passed since the attack, police are still unsure of exactly what occurred. Police are operating on the premise there was a lone attacker.

The wounded have been transported to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.

19:33: Update on the wounded from Barzilai Hospital:

Two males and two females were wounded in the Kiryat Gat stabbing attack.

The two men and one woman are in their 40s and 50s. The last victim, a female, is 13-years-old. She is listed in moderate-to-serious condition with an abdominal stab wound.

The older woman was taken into surgery and the men are being examined and stabilized in the emergency room.

19:49: Police are continuing the manhunt for the terrorist, who they believe was wounded. A helicopter is involved in the manhunt.

20:07: A Bedouin man, a resident of Segev Shalom, is being transported to the hospital after residents of Kiryat Gat beat him believing he was the terrorist responsible for the stabbing attack earlier.

The attacker remains at large at this time.
