Catskills: Vehicle Overturns Into Lake, After Avoiding Head-On Collision [PHOTOS]

A vehicle overturned into a lake in the Catksills, Thursday morning.

It happened at around 11:20AM on the Harris-Bushville Road.

Sources tell YWN that the driver swerved to avoid a vehicle which had crossed the double-yellow lines – directly into his lane. The driver lost control, and rolled off the road and into a lake. Miraculously, the driver self-extricated from the vehicle prior to the arrival of emergency personnel.

He suffered only minor injuries.

Heavy tow was called, and pulled the vehicle out of the water.

This is the same curve that resulted in a tragic fatal collision just before last summer, when a driver also came head-on into a vehicle.
