Today, Simcha Felder celebrated the Grand Opening of his Borough Park headquarters. Joined by Assemblyman Dov Hikind, Councilman David Greenfield and numerous community dignitaries, the Felder campaign headquarters drew hundreds of visitors from across Borough Park and Midwood in just its first day of operation.
“I’m gratified by the outpouring of support from my friends and neighbors,” said Felder. “Throughout my career in public service, I’ve prided myself on being the kind of accessible public official our community deserves, and this is a first step. When I’m elected, I plan to have a presence in every corner of our great community.”
Simcha Felder is running for the newly formed open 17th Senate District that encompasses Borough Park, Flatbush, Midwood, Kensington and Sunset Park. He is running on the Democratic, Conservative and Tax Cuts Now lines. Felder is currently New York City’s Deputy Comptroller for Budget and Accounting. He served the neighborhoods of Borough Park, Kensington and Flatbush in the City Council from 2002 through 2010.

I think it is okay for people as well as politicians to change their mind when they realize they have made a mistake. It seems like Mr. Felder has been doing A WHOLE LOT of changing his mind right before this elections. He seems like the type of politician that will say what the voters want to hear and then ignore the voters and carry out his own agenda. In this way he has a striking resemblance to our current President Obama, which he supported until right before this election.
Look at this phony’s reason for backing Obama: http://www.cityandstateny.com/simcha-felder-backed-obama-mccain/
I am also concerned about the outrageous stunt Felder pulled off to win the Conservative primary. Such dirty politics makes me not want to vote for anybody but especially not for Felder.
Everyone, everyone, everyone knows that Felder is not conservative. He is just lying to appeal to the most conservative district in the entire country. Chassidic Jews in Brooklyn overwhelmingly voted for John McCain.
