An armed terrorist was detected and placed in custody before he would strike out against innocent citizens.

Police on Thursday morning 2 Cheshvan apprehended an Arab male armed with a knife near Jerusalem’s Cord’s Bridge, close to Binyanei Ha’uma, the Jerusalem Convention Center.

The arrest was made in the area of a stabbing attack on board a bus earlier in the week in which a soldier was wounded and the terrorist eliminated.

In related news, albeit far away, a terrorist armed with a knife was arrested on Thursday near the S. Hebron Hills community of Adura.

Later in the day another Arab terrorist, a 17-year-old male, was arrested in the Carmel Coast bus station. He too was armed with a knife. Haifa police took him into custody.
