IDF Chief Of Personnel Branch Questioned By Police Following Break-In/Theft

tIDF Chief of Personnel Branch Major-General Chaggai Tupolinsky was questioned by military police ‘under warning’ after a break-in into his home in which a highly-classified laptop was stolen among other items. The break-in occurred on Tuesday, 13 Kislev, at the senior officer’s home in the Be’er Tuvia Regional Council district. Five apartments were broken into during the same night and month the items stolen are a vehicle, computers, cellular telephones and wallets.

In Tupolinsky’s case, his vehicle and computer are among the items stolen and due to the highly-classified nature of the data, he was interviewed by military police. Some of the data contained on the stolen computer is described as “highly sensitive”.

In the past, it was Tupolinsky who removed a colonel from his position after his vehicle was stolen with his military computer left inside, which is a breach of regulations.
