Nayit Hayehudi leader Minister Naftali Bennett was interviewed by CNN following the opening of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem. Tough questions were lobbed at him by the reporter, but were faced with harsh responses:
Bennett released the following statement to the media:
“I remain confident in the coming years, Jerusalem will be universally recognized as the capital of Israel. It is not a possibility for the PA (Palestine Authority) to share the capital, just as the United States would not consider dividing Washington D.C. and the same for London.
Discussions of Jerusalem as the PA (Palestine Authority) capital is off the record. If G-d forbit it is divided, this square mile will become the most dangerous place on earth. Mark my words, Jerusalem will not be divided again. We kept it open for all religions and always will, not like the Arabs.”
