Senior Blue & White MK: Pulling A Chareidi’s Peyos Is Due To Incitement

MK (Blue and White) Michael Biton, a senior official in the party, has attacked the policeman who pulled Yehoshua Kroizer by his peyos, as he was arresting him during a recent Beit Shemesh protest.

During an interview with Kikar Shabbos News, Biton called the act “A stigma of chareidi hating”.

In Biton’s words, “I watched the video and I was shocked. A policeman pulling one’s peyos – is there no respect for Yiddishkeit? No respect for another human being? He took advantage of his authority”.

“This authority at times is being abused; against Ethiopians and chareidim, a stigma of hating chareidim” Biton added.

“Peyos are holy, and we must not compromise one’s self-respect, and this is due to hate and incitement among people. The future in Israeli public life is to find a broad common denominator, only there will we find the way to live together without hatred that leads to such difficult acts”, Biton concluded.

  1. Pulling anyone’s hair, payos , beard etc. is NEVER justifiable, whether the victim is Chareidi, non-frum, Palestinian etc. It is dehumanizing and never should happen absent rare cases where it occurs inadvertently when the victim was physically assaulting a police or security officer.

  2. You can say how dare you call jews nazis…. but these are nazis plain and simple, they just dont have the authority to mass exterminate frum people, but you know that’s what they want.

“Chareidi vermin” is graffitied all over eretz yisrael. Just like the nazis considered us rats and vermin, so do these irreligious cops and other secular Israelis.

First they drive into his crotch, and then they grab him by peyos, and then kick him in chest twice for retrieving his yarmulka.

Not sick, worse than sick. No words to describe them. If you call them nazis, the other self haters condemn you.

Then again, what do we care what think?
May Hashem make them do teshuva. If that is not appropriate, then may Hashem snip the cancer that is them from the body of klal yisrael.

  3. We finally have a politician addressing this unfortunate issue, may there be more of this positive attitude from leaders who are actually in power and ready to put a stop to these behaviours bezras Hashem

  4. I don’t care what this guy did earlier. EVERY one of those police officers that stood by and watched as this man was pulled like that by his peyos should be suspended without pay. There is no excuse for such inhumane behavior. And that is not getting into the religious aspect.
I am 100% anti all these protests. However; there is no excuse for such behavior.
